Oklahoma tornado victims - May 20
Pray for all those affected by the devastating tornado that hit Oklahoma Monday. Pray for God's provisions and peace for all.
missionaries the world over - May 17
Pray for the work, protection and provision of missionaries the world over. Pray for their health, strength and wisdom as they seek to follow His Call. Especially, I lift Carolyn Bounds and her work with children at risk. Praise God for His Mercy and Love.
Michelle, Amanda, Gina - May 10
Pray for the physical, mental and spiritual health of these women as they reunite with society and their loved ones after being held in captivity and subjected to horrific treatment by their kidnapper. Pray also for Castro, the man who abused them. We praise God for His Mercy and Love!
Paula - May 4
Pray for peace and comfort for the family and friends of Paula as she went home to be with Jesus early Saturday morning. We offer God our thanks and praise for her life and generous spirit and for her strong Christian Witness. Pray that God straightens the way for all the arrangements to be made for her service. Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.

iNTERCEDE is a ministry of intercessory prayer.  1 Timothy 2:1 tells us that we are to  make "requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving for everyone."  This is a practice which we are all called to do as the body of Christ.  You are invited to participate in this by:

"Pray for the Children" is a collaborative effort of over 50 churches in the greater Houston area to pray for the children in our city.

As we prepare for school to start again for our children and youth, let's focus our hearts and minds on Christ Jesus, and on His heart for all children, as we pray:

  • that they are loved unconditionally, regardless of where they are from 

  • that they have necessary provisions

  • that they are healthy 

  • that they are safe

  • that they grow in mind, body and spirit

  • that their parents are wise and caring

  • that we as the Faith Community do our part to ensure their welfare
